Fresh food needed for local food pantries
Green-thumbs to novices we need you! 
Plant.Grow.Share. is a collaborative effort of Keohane Funeral Homes, the Weymouth Food Pantry, and Interfaith Social Services. The purpose is to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to local food pantries. Hungry  families and children deserve healthful, nourishing food. 
Free Seedlings
S eedlings available the week of May 22-26 at: Interfaith Social Services, 105 Adams St. in Quincy; Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. in Quincy; McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main St. in South Weymouth; or the Weymouth Food Pantry's warehouse, 40 Reservoir Park Dr., Unit B, Rockland. 

Gardening Workshop 
A FREE build-your-own-tomato-container garden workshop -  Friday, May 26 at 1 p.m. at the Kennedy Senior Center located at 440 E Squantum St. in Quincy.  Anyone interested in learning about container gardening is welcome to attend. RSVP, call: 617-773-6203 ext. 17 Participants will leave with a container, a seedling and soil.  
Donate Fruits and Vegetables
This initiative is not just for gardeners; it is for anyone who is committed to feeding healthy food to hungry people. Donate produce from your garden or find deals at your local supermarket. Then drop it off at the food pantry: 105 Adams St. Quincy MA 8:30am -4:00pm, Mon-Fri and until 7:00pm on Tuesdays.
