Join Us for an afternoon Movie at CSS:  The Past
Sunday, Nov. 12 th - 4:00 p.m.
This 2013 film, winner and nominee of multiple awards, is a follow-up to director Asghar Farhadi’s acclaimed film A Separation.  According to one critic, Farhadi is Iranian, but “he seems to have little interest in ‘films that try to explain Iran to the world.’ The one country that really seems to interest him is the human heart.”
Come see this film and ponder how human emotions impact our past, our present and our future.
Monday, November 13th at 10:30am
A Program with Jeff Klepper - "   Izzy, Moe and Zal"
(Jews and the '60s Folk Revival), followed by lunch
Cantor Jeff Klepper  is one of the key figures in American Jewish music. He has performed throughout the USA and Israel, in England, France, Netherlands and Russia. His original songs, such as the universally beloved ‘Shalom Rav,’ are known throughout the Jewish world.
He was one of the first cantors to champion congregational singing and to use a guitar in Jewish worship. For his role in creating a contemporary Jewish musical style he has been hailed as a “pioneer,” one of a handful of people responsible for literally changing the sound of American synagogue music.

"Biennial is a great opportunity to network with leaders across the Reform Movement. Shabbat is an experience you can only have at Biennial: the  t'filah  (prayer), the  ruach  (spirit), and the music, all make memories you just can't get anywhere else."
