The International Day of Peace

Celebrate with Charter Oak -
When: Wednesday, September 20 at 8:30am. We are celebrating one day early due to a school holiday on Thursday, Rosh Hashanah.

Families are welcome to gather at the flagpole as students share what Peace means to them through thoughtfully decorated pinwheels. Have you ever seen 500 pinwheels spinning in the breeze?

More Volunteer Opportunities...
Picture Day! Wednesday 9/27
Almost there, friends - we just need a few more volunteers for Picture Day, Wednesday, 9/27. With your help, maybe our children's pictures will turn out better than ours (or at least mine) did!
Our Community...

Psst...go exploring in our garden and you might find delicious surprises like this one. If it is ready to be harvested, it's yours!
Thank you parents, families, faculty and everyone who played a role in Curriculum Nights for the lower and upper grades at Charter Oak. The atmosphere was alive with all the possibilities!

What's more, two Charter Oak students organized a fundraiser for Hurricane Harvey and Irma victims and raised over $300! Principal Melian additionally pledged $50 from the school. Another example of CARING Charter Oak students taking ACTION.
