Lent 2018
Program highlights include:
*Daily Lenten Devotional (distributed throughout Lent): Edited by FBC's
Barbara Brann Weir, provides meaningful readings, poems, inspirational art to inspire and deepen your journey. Plus, activity packets for families, children, and youth.
*Art project--Window to the Soul: You will find a windowpane with sea glass in the narthex. Each Sunday, place a few pieces of colored sea glass on the window pane. As we travel through this season of waiting and patience, let us create a lasting piece of art together -- art that represents what we, as a community of faith are faithful to and patient for.
When Lent comes to a close, and we arrive upon Easter we will have a beautiful sea-glass window. Through this window, we will view the soul of our community's faithfulness.

Faith Forum Update
Thank you to
Rabbi Alison Adler
of Temple B'nai Abraham who, on Feb. 25th, led an engaging Bible study on Genesis 1: 1-5. Rabbi Alison reflected on how, in verse 2, chaos was the essential ingredient from which God brought creation. This led to a conversation of how God continues to create order out of the chaotic moments of life. It is wonderful to see the many ways that the friendship between FBC and the Temple continues to grow. Thank you to the Spiritual Life Team that planned this event.
