Children & Youth Sunday!
9:30 a.m.: Adult Education (childcare provided)
-Adult Bible Study: We have just begun a new study of the Wisdom Literature in the Bible. All are welcome to come and learn about these intriguing books of the Bible. Led by Beth Loughhead, the class meets in the Mary Kuell Room (downstairs).

-Faith Journey: Led by Kent Harrop and Gloria Stoneham. We will explore what Jesus teaches about
developing a meaningful, balanced life of prayer and reflect on our own experience with prayer...what works, what doesn't. New participants welcome! We meet in the staff conference room (main floor).

-Mae Patten: Led by Andrea Stackpole, this class studies the Scripture and other books, and discusses how it applies to our lives. We meet in the lounge.

11:00 a.m.: Worship
(Children and Youth are asked to arrive at 10:00 a.m. to rehearse!)

Free to Be You and Me!

On this special Sunday, our children and youth will lead in worship. Come enjoy the talents, voices, skills and gifts of our young people!

Our service of worship will include a Baby Dedication this Sunday.

After Worship: Welcome Class Meeting
Welcome Class is a fun and relaxed time for those new to FBC to learn more about our core values and mission (and meet some great people). We meet for four 90-minute sessions.  A brief organizing meeting is this Sunday, five minutes after worship, in the church lounge. Bring your calendar and we’ll meet for 10 minutes to set a mutually convenient schedule. Hosted by Kent Harrop .

Strides for Service
Saturday, May 12
There's still time to register for Strides for Service, a family-friendly raffle run/walk in downtown Beverly. Collect a ticket for each completed loop, then use your tickets to enter a raffle for a chance to win over 30 awesome prizes. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. Register at stridesforserviceeventbrite.com  and you can also find us on Facebook . This event will support the local, national and worldwide service outreach of FBC. All proceeds from this event will go toward bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of people in need.
Fellowship Offering
We collect a fellowship offering every Communion Sunday. The funds are overseen by the Board of Deacons and the Ministerial Team to help those in our midst who are struggling financially, paying heat, buying food, paying rent. The fund has been well used in recent months and could use some donations so that the church can continue to help those in need. Fellowship offering envelopes are in the pew racks in the sanctuary and can be used every Sunday, not just Communion Sundays, or donations can be sent to the church with a notation that it is for the fellowship offering. Thank you for your generosity!
All-Church Baseball Outing
Tues. June 19 at 6:35 p.m.
Come watch the Lowell Spinners vs. The Staten Island Yankees with the FBC Men’s Fellowship, in an all church baseball outing at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, MA. Tickets will be sold in the narthex before/after services, beginning THIS Sunday. See Brian Gregory , Kent Harrop , or John Thomson for further details.
