Join Us On Sunday at First Baptist Church in Beverly!
Sunday July 29, 2018
10:00 a.m.: Worship at Lynch Park

As part of the Beverly Homecoming Days, local faith centers are uniting for an Interfaith Worship Service to commemorate our diverse traditions. The service will take place at Lynch Park (inclement weather would change the location to First Baptist Church) and will include music and words of wisdom from various area faith leaders.

Our theme for this service is, "Celebrating Our Beautiful Diversity." We will honor the richness of our diverse faith traditions and celebrate that which unites us!

This is a family-friendly gathering that is sure to inspire. Bring your lawn chair, beach blanket, family, and friends to celebrate our town’s beautiful diversity! An offering will be collected to benefit Riverhouse/Lifebridge Homeless services.

We invite prayers for 29 members of our 2018 Mission Trip, who depart for Plymouth, NC this week to work with Coastal Carolina Rebuilding Ministry (CCRM), formerly known as CROSS (Christians Reaching Out in Sacred Service), a mission that grew out of the Plymouth United Methodist Church. The mission of Coastal Carolina Rebuilding is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners.

Men's Fellowship BBQ
Earlier this month, the Men’s Fellowship enjoyed a BBQ and bocce at Buck Shupp’s home. Pictured is Nate Griffin bowling with Bob StonehamBrian Gregory and John Thomson playing ring toss. A great time was had by everyone who attended, and those who could not attend were missed! Stay tuned for next Men’s Fellowship event in late September.
Our Allagashers - youth and their adult leaders - led worship on Allagash Sunday. They did a wonderful job, and we are so grateful for the experiences they shared!
