This lively discussion group meets at Chianti on Cabot Street in Beverly from 8:00 p.m. until approximately 10:00 p.m. (although it’s a casual gathering – come and go as you need to!) to share food, refreshments, and conversation about life, faith, and the places that they intersect. This group is open to the community, and new members are always welcome!

New Director of Harborlight Nursery School
We are excited to announce that
Jenny Baez
has joined Harborlight Nursery School as our new director. We were intent on finding the perfect person for the job, and we couldn’t be more pleased that Jenny accepted the position. Our new director comes to us with a sustained passion for educating children, experience as a director of a successful preschool, and the leadership abilities to ensure the highest standards of quality. She will be in the office starting July 30th and is looking forward to getting to know the HNS and FBC family!

Beverly Homecoming Interfaith Worship Service
This past Sunday, the Beverly Multifaith Coalition (BMC) hosted a joyous celebration at Lynch Park, with ten congregations from Jewish, Buddhist, Unitarian and Christian traditions. We honored our beautiful diversity and our unity in this inclusive worship service. First Baptist Church is a proud supporter and member of the BMC.

Mission Trip 2018
Godspeed to the 29 members of our 2018 Mission Trip who are currently in Plymouth, NC, working with Coastal Carolina Rebuilding Ministry (CCRM), a mission that grew out of the Plymouth United Methodist Church; they are improving the homes and lives of low-income homeowners. The team returns August 5th.
