Almighty and everliving God, in your tender love for the human race you sent your Son our Savior Jesus Christ to take upon him our nature, and to suffer death upon the cross, giving us the example of his great humility: Mercifully grant that we may walk in the way of his suffering, and also share in his resurrection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Tomorrow night from 6:30- 8 p.m. we will have a Seder meal sponsored by the Kids' Connection. This is a family friendly Seder that explains how the meal that the Jews ate before the exodus from Egypt is fulfilled in Jesus, the Messiah. Here is the online sign-up form. Please let us know TODAY if you are coming. We ask for a $5 per person/ $15 donation per family.
Holy Week gives us the chance to walk with Jesus through the last week of his life on earth, through his death and resurrection. Each service is unique, and helps us to reflect on the events that Jesus experienced as he fulfilled his vacation as the Savior of the world.
All are invited to walk up Mt. Cristo Rey on Holy Saturday. Please invite family and friends as we pray from the top. It is absolutely beautiful!
