"My father was a wandering Aramean. He went down to Egypt

but there he  became a great and populous nation.

   Did you know that ...

The Passover Seder provides Jews with an opportunity to shape creative, meaningful

celebrations for ourselves. There are so many ways to do this. Take a look at the RAC's

(Religious Action Center's) wealth of Passover resources, including:

       * themed haggadot on social justice issues ranging from modern slavery to

          labor rights

       * a new seder insert on our partnership with Nothing But Nets - "The Four

          Questions of Malaria"

       * our recent Passover blog series covering issues from disabilities to civil rights

Don't Miss Your Chance ~
Deadline for Placing Coffee Orders
has been extended to April 16th!!

Youth In Action at the Boombox
Tuesday, April 22nd
This year's event will be held at The Boombox, a karaoke lounge at the new hotel downtown, The Dean. The event is on Tuesday, April 22nd - there will be hors d'oeuvres, a bar, use of karaoke rooms, and lots of fun! I would love it if you could join me - it will be a great opportunity to meet all the amazing people I work with and learn more about Youth in Action, but there will also be delicious food, drinks and a great chance to check out a new venue and a fun night overall!

Click here to order tickets!  I hope to see you there in a few weeks - let me know if you think you'll be able to come or if you have any questions.

Thanks, Lindsay Tarnoff
Spring Plant Sale
Sunday, May 4th from 9:30 am to Noon
We are having a pre-Mother's Day Spring Plant Sale at Temple on Sunday, May 4th from 9:30 to noon and are looking for helpers.

If you enjoy crafts or gardening or just like plants and have a garden, we want you to be involved.

We will be creating some small containers to hold plants and need helpers for this activity. If you have plants to share, we can give you pots, soil and even advice about dividing your plants.

Contact Leslie Lorber at [email protected] or 401-714-3395 to let us know you want to help or you want to donate your divisions to the sale.

All sale proceeds will benefit the Temple.

Reminder ~
Mishkan HaNefesh Orders

Just a reminder that orders for the new machzor - Mishkan HaNefesh - are due.  Since the books will not be delivered for a while, you can place your order now and decide on the inscription at a later date.

We will continue to accept orders throughout the coming months so please keep us in mind - a set of prayer books is a meaningful way to honor a loved one or recognize a significant occasion or event.
