HAVE A SAFE LONG WEEKEND
Our offices will be closed on Monday, but over the long weekend, be sure to check out Sunshine Cabaret tonight with Willy Blizzard, and tomorrow with the Kettle Valley Brakemen. Both concerts begin at 7pm in Gyro Park, details on our Facebook page. MICHAEL BURGESS: AUGUST 13THAnd speaking of concerts, Canada's own "Jean Valjean" comes to Gyro Park on Monday, August 13th! Come see Michael Burgess, perhaps Canada's favourite musical theatre performer, known worldwide for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. Michael has performed in major festivals across Canada, sung anthems at international sporting events, and appeared before the Queen. You'll surely recognize his warm tenor as he performs the iconic "Bring Him Home" from Les Miz, and "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera. Donations appreciated at this event, which begins at 7pm and is co-presented with Penticton and Area Community Concerts.
