Daniel Pyne has been at home in the world of film, TV, and books for over 30 years. His writing credits include classics like "The Manchurian  Candidate," "Fracture," "Any Given Sunday," and "Miami Vice." He just finished his engagement as a head writer and showrunner on JJ Abrams' new TV show "Alcatraz" on FOX. Daniel is also the author of the cult noir novel, "Twentynine Palms" (which was also made into a feature film) and just released his second novel, "A Hole In The Ground Owned by a Liar." In his spare time, Daniel Pyne acts a visiting professor at the UCLA Graduate School of Film and is a writing advisor for the Sundance Institute. For more info on Daniel Pyne. |

Since then, Dan has composed several scores for films including the award-winning AFI graduate picture, Clinic E, and Barbara Jean, starring Sara Rue. |
