HERB FAIR Plant & "Everything-Garden" Sale !

 Spring into Gardening !
The area's largest garden show and sale is about to begin!  Poplar Grove's Herb & Garden Fair offers everything great and green for vegetable gardening and landscaping.

Over a dozen nurseries on site, sell their healthy, organic plants, edible flower plants, bonzais, bedding plants, native trees, topiaries and more.  Shoppers can count on  healthy plants from top notch local growers, selecting the best of the best.  On hand to help, are the Pender County Cooperative Extension, Master Gardeners.  These folks really know how to grow.  They happily share their expertise and handouts.

With over seventy vendors in one location, the fair makes it easy to accessorize your home and garden with unique handmade planters, statues, sculptures and patio furniture.  Find natural soaps, rum fudge, baskets, nature themed jewelry, handbags,  spice tea and hand-forged garden benches.  Poplar Grove's Herb and Garden Fair has it ALL.

Fun, educational classes taught by experts like Meg Shelton of Shelton Herb Farms, shed light on how to have a green thumb in southeastern North Carolina.  Learn how to grow tomatoes and micro greens. There's even a gardening class for children. At 9:00am on Saturday, Audubon Education Director and Author Andy Wood, leads an informative bird hike through beautiful Abbey Nature Preserve, a serene beginning to an awesome spring weekend.

It's only one weekend a year and it's fantastic!  Join us March 24 & 25th and give yourself a great start to the 2012 growing season.
