College Night for Juniors 
Thursday, April 6 at 6pm in the Hayes Theatre
Juniors and parents, join us for this informative event. We will have representatives from the University of California, California State University, California Community Colleges and private universities to share opportunities, updates and timelines for fall 2018 admission. SPANISH TRANSLATION will be provided. Come with your questions! Parents of 10th graders interested in learning more are welcome to attend as well. California Scholarship Federation (CSF) Community Service
Each semester all CSF members are required to complete at least five hours of community service. Bulldog Pride Day is a great way to get your hours complete and the College and Career Center has several community service opportunities listed.  This semester due date is May 19 , please come by Mrs. Ayoob's classroom and pick up your form. 
Test Prep Courses
Begins April 5 at Redwood High School
Kaplan is offering and SAT course for 8 weeks at Redwood for 3 hours each Monday or Wednesday evenings, plus some Saturdays. Price is $799. For more info, visit the CCC or call 1-800-527-8378.

Class of 2017 Graduation Ceremony
This year's Graduation ceremony will be at the Marin Veteran's Memorial Auditorium on June 8  starting at 5:30pm.  Seniors will be receiving ticket request info closer to the event.
Applying to College of Marin
Parents of seniors, if your student is planning to attend COM please make sure that they have applied online. COM will be on campus April 19th to do math and English placement tests. They will receive their results right away and meet with a COM counselor about educational plans. They cannot take the placement test without signing up in the CCC first. 
Parking Lot Closed For Re-Striping April 10-12
San Rafael High School's main parking lot will be re-striped April 10-12 and will be closed Crews will be working, so if you don't see them working don't assume they're done. Please use the back lot or park in front of the school while this work is being done.
Parking will be enforced after the Spring Break.  If you are a staff member, park in your spot.  We will be re-issuing permits for student parking spots, and students will be required to possess a permit to park in the lot.   New visitor spots will be created in front of the school close and visible to the main entrance.  Please make sure to park in a legally designated spot.   Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed. Contact Mr. Dennis with questions.
Stadium Construction Begins May 1
In preparation for construction which will begin on May 1, the stadium will be sealed/locked up on April 20, 2017. SR students, staff and the public will not have any further access, at any time, until the new stadium opens in November of 2017. Thank you!

Bike Dawgs Update
Bike Dawgs scored big at their Sunday, March 26 race in Monterey! Every rider left it all out on the race course, and it showed. For the first time in many years, 2 riders shared the podium - Nick Boulter and Joel Butler placed 2nd and 4th, respectively. Looking forward to Granite Bay Grinder next weekend. Go Bike Dawgs!
Bulldog Bocce Battle is in 3 Weeks!
We've got a battle happening! Join us for a bocce bonanza and help raise much needed funding for our sports programs. Get a team together and get there - last year was a blast!

Sunday, April 23 *  12pm to 4pm *  Marin Bocce Federation

Tickets are $50 per person, create a team of 4 or 6 players.
