Students are welcome to drop-in during brunch, lunch or after school for urgent matters. If questions remain, counselors will be available by appointment starting the week of March 21 Thank you for your understanding.
"Bite of Reality" Financial Literacy Workshop
Tuesday, March 7 from 8:30 - 12:00 in the Gym
The Economics classes have an opportunity to participate in a financial literacy workshop, "Bite of Reality", a Redwood Credit Union sponsored event that exposes students to real life financial scenarios asking them to make rational economic decisions and learning the consequences when they don't. Students will be provided a financial portfolio and they will have to pay for day care, apply for a mortgage, get insurance etc....essentially a crash course in adult life. We need at least 16 parent volunteers to help manage the stations. Please email Mrs. Ayoob if you are available to help (no specific financial experience necessary) asanchezayoob@srcs.org. Thank you for your support!

Athletics Update
Boys Wrestling Season Success
In the MCAL championships, six of the seven Boys Wrestling team members placed in the tournament. Seniors Braulio Resendiz and Andrew Savedra took first place. Senior Declan Mylett and junior Deybi Maldonado took second place. Freshman Edward DeLeon took third and freshman Jonah Glickstein took 5th.

The NCS Championships were held February 24-25, and again the SR wrestlers did very well.   Andrew Savedra earned a medal by placing eighth out of 40 wrestlers in his weight class. This was the first medal earned by a San Rafael wrestler since 1998 and one of only three earned by all MCAL wrestlers this year! Declan Mylett and Braulio Resendiz also had outstanding tournaments, placing in the top 12 of 40 wrestlers in their weight classes, falling just short of earning medals themselves. Overall, Bulldog wrestlers won 11 matches at this very competitive tournament. Great job and great season boys!
