THIS WEEK | Respiratory Care Club hosting Blood Drive on Sept. 27 An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 12 noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in the parking lot of SSCC Fayette Campus, 1270 U.S. 62 SW, Washington C.H.

IN THE NEWS | Growing up in the shadow of addiction Trenton Davis, a nursing student at Southern State and STNA at Fayette County Memorial Hospital, is featured in a newspaper series examining the opioid crisis in Fayette County.

IN THE NEWS | SSCC student continues to reach for the stars Madeleine Leuders, a College Credit Plus student at Southern State, spent her summer at SpaceTrek, an all girls camp focusing on space science and engineering.
