God created the heavens and the earthQuick Thought:
Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my mind and my heart. For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Your truth. Psalm 26:2-3 (NKJ)
Mark 13:9-13

"But be on your guard; for they will deliver you to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My (Jesus') sake, as a testimony to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.

"And when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not be anxious beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but it is the Holy Spirit.

"And brother will deliver brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.

"And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved." Mark 13:9-13 (NAS)
God's Word is Our GuideJohn 7:37-42

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.' "

But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Some of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, were saying, "This certainly is the Prophet."

Others were saying, "This is the Christ." Still others were saying, "Surely the Christ is not going to come from Galilee, is He? Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?" John 7:37-42 (NAS)
