T-Shirt Friday - September 9, 2016 - Southern Therapy
Thank you to Steve Taylor and his staff at Southern Therapy
for providing the Chamber with T-Shirts
and for allowing us to Showcase your Business!

Six AM sure came around EARLY! Here they come, here come the folks to make this day a success. Over twenty five vendors with swings, benches, jewelry, lamps, china, toys, yarn, exercise equipment, sauces, dips, clothing, furniture, antiques, pots, pans, bake goods, books, the list goes on and on.... What a wonderful day. The weather was perfect, Pine Street was busy and the surrounding downtown shops were busy busy. A few even had the best day they had ever had.

We had vendors and visitors from all around. Pitts, Rochelle, Leesburg, Douglas, Tifton just to name a few. We had the fire department here with their one and only Sparky the fire dog, as well as help from the police and sheriff's department.

Thanks to all who sold items and those who found treasures to carry home with them. Thanks to our first responders who were here and our public works for helping us. We charged a small fee to set up for the yard sale. The proceeds went to the Christian Kitchen and the Human Society. We were able to present each of them with a check in the amount of $185.00.

Thank you Fitzgerald for the support and showing off our community! Be on the lookout as this will happen again......
Just a quick note to say Great Job to Neesa Williams, Derinda Lewis and all the others involved in organizing the Hwy 319 Community Wide Yard Sale. It was an awesome event, lots of fun and very well attended. I was happy to be a part of it and look forward to having this event again.

Thanks for all your hard work and dedication
