A service of favorite seasonal hymns beginning with Advent and ending with Pentecost.
July 24-Favorite Hymn Sunday
Your favorite hymns will be collected before worship and
chosen randomly and sung throughout the service.
July 31-Fifth Sunday Family Fun Day
Worship and music for all God's Children.

Community Outreach Backpack Drive
Save the date for our Community Outreach Backpack Drive, starting in July!
We will be collecting back packs and school supplies for the kids at Santa Fe during July in order to get them packed before school starts. The famous Purple Bins will be available in Gosnell Hall or you may make a donation and leave the shopping to us.
In addition, we will be supporting the "Back To School Drive "with our neighboring churches in the North Central Church Convening. They have been doing this for a number of years at Coker United Methodist Church and it gets bigger ever year. We will contribute any extra supplies that we collect and take part in the counting and sorting and packing the backpacks. Children will be signed up for back packs by their parent from Coker Food Pantry, West Avenue Compassion and special requests from counselors at Coker and Larkspur Elementary Schools. These are truly families who need assistance.
The schedule for this event is July 25th - Counting and sorting supplies at the Coker gym after 5 p.m. August 1st - Packing the backpacks in the gym after 5 p.m. Distribution Day is August 10th in the gym from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. In addition that day University Hospital will have mobile Pediatric and Mammogram Units on campus. Volunteers are needed for counting, sorting and distribution. We need many Hispanic translators on Distribution Day.

ur church and school offices will be closed for Independence Day on Monday, July 4!
We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, July 5.

Book Club
Tuesday, July 5, at 10am in the library
On Tuesday, July 5th the Book Club will meet at 10:00 in the Library. to discuss "The Nightingale " by Kristin Hannah. This action packed novel is about two courageous sisters living in a small town in France. during World War ll. The realistic characters and historical events make for a delightful read and interesting discussion. Guests welcome!
