All Saints Sunday
Sunday, November 6.

All Saints' Day is November 1st and it is the feast day in which we remember all the faithful departed. The Sunday after is called All Saints' Sunday and it is the only time a feast day may be moved to the following Sunday. It is a very appropriate time for baptisms and this year we will have two. In the Baptismal Liturgy there are no Prayers of the People in order to pray for the Baptismal candidates. This means we cannot pray for the recently deceased by name.

This year we would like to celebrate the Eucharist with a special intention for the souls of those who have passed away since last November 1st . The names will be read at the beginning of the Prayer of Consecration.

Please send us the names of any family members who have passed away since Nov. 1st, 2015, so that we may give thanks for their lives.

Daylight Savings Time Ends

Just a friendly reminder to turn your clocks back on Saturday night, November 5! Daylight Savings time ends and we fall back an hour for fall! Enjoy the extra sleep!
