Montco Hotels Have a Record July

The Montgomery County Treasurer's office collects the County's hotel tax, which supports efforts to increase tourism in the County. July proved to be a record month for Montgomery County hotel occupancy, with a 7.3% increase in occupancy in July 2016 compared to July 2015. Room rates were up 13.1% and revenue per available room was up 21.4%. Read the Philadelphia Business Journal article for additional details.

Additionally our office collected $463,374 for the hotel tax this July, compared to $383,249 last July -- a 21% increase.
