Slow Food Philadelphia

Slow Food is a non-profit member supported International movement, founded in 1989 to counter the rise of fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people's dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.

This year we are featuring food trucks and have tried to find something for everyone including vegetarian selections.   At the door you will receive redeemable tickets (one for each truck) so you can sample from each truck.  So far we have lined up Vernalicious, Sweet Box, Foo Truck, and Chez Yasmine.  Our local brewer samplers include Philadelphia Brewing Company, Earth -Bread + Brewery, Victory, and Stoudt's.

Buon Appetito!
