Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend! We had a landscape install for a wonderful client, so my mom worked most of Mother's Day. I might make her a vegetable lasagna today since she worked so hard yesterday!

Our radio show topic last week was about butterfly gardening. It was light and fun to talk about one of the most amazing creatures in the garden. I don't think there is too much that they do except make you smile on a good or a bad day.

We are preparing to head out to many yards over the next few weeks, our vegetable class students that finished the 8 week course for Spring 1 had the option of taking an evaluation. With the evaluation came a free consultation. Mom and I are pumped to go out and see all the gardens and our teachings come to life! One student, a chef at Bolsa, told us he would cook for us (garlic free) the next time we come over. Free food?! From a garden and a chef?! I'm not opposed to that at all.

Well enough rambling for this Monday morning, but we do hope you had a wonderful weekend and we thank you for reading our emails, listening to our show, and being a valued client of ours. Let us know how we can help you.

FarmGirls Radio Show - Legends KAAM 770 AM

Today mom and I talked about gardening for the butterflies. It was a light and fun topic. Sometimes we get into the foods we eat and raise and I leave the radio studio with a heavy heart, knowing how much more there is to accomplish. This weekend we went out with a light hearted step, butterflies are just good for the soul. That's what my mama always says.
