Strategic Touring Grant


We're very happy to announce that we are 1 of only 10 successful applicants to Arts Council England's Strategic Touring Grant!

The grant, which is just under £120k, will be used to continue our mission to raise the profile of traditional English dance through performance and education, and more specifically:

  • 21 shows across the UK in Oct/Nov 2012 & Feb 2013
  • 21 educational projects in the areas we are touring
  • 21 date support slot for BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award young Folk Awards finalist Maz O'Connor & Matthew Jones
  • Training new artists to enable us to tour full time in the future
  • Development of the current show including work with a consultant director, choreographer and lighting designer.
  • Development of a smaller show suitable for educational projects and street shows
  • A rebranding process including new title (TBC), imagery, website, promo video and promotional materials.
  • A comprehensive publicity campaign
