We feel it is our duty as a Certified Timeslips Consultant to advise you on the possibility of upgrading your Timeslips client to version 2013 which Sage will be releasing shortly.
With Timeslips 2013 there are many new features that will enhance your billing solution. These include, but are not limited to the following:
Slip deletion – Ability to delete multiple slips at the same time, based on your own criteria
Slip Attachments – Ability to attach files to slips (example, if you needed a copy of an expense bill to attach to an expense slip to be billed to a client)
Report – New report Average days to Pay. Very useful for Cash flow management
Expenses – Multiple prices for expenses
Slip Triggers – The ability to have a specific type of slip trigger another slip based on your criteria
Duplex printing – Will print on both sides of paper, if you have a duplex printer
Slip Entry – Restrict by date and by amount of time
Time Entry – Show on slip as decimal or hours:minutes
Some of the new features of version 2012 include but are not limited to the following:
Bill Approval – Ability to approve bills and retain bill image without having to print bills to paper
Microsoft Word – Ability to merge certain client data into Word documents
Document Folders – Create folders by client if needed to save bills and/or statements printed to file
Please let us know if you are interested in finding out more about upgrading to version 2013 Timeslips. Keep in mind that as resellers, we can sell it to you at a discount. We recommend buying it early in the cycle when the prices are lowest and then waiting a few months to install.
