The Paddlers' Pool is for people who would like to participate in the Festival but are NOT on an existing team.  Sign up here  and we will contact you to discuss the details of your participation and connect you with a team who needs paddlers.

It's not just the Lair... introducing the Dragon's Loft!
In case you hadn't heard... for 2018, we've seriously upgraded the perks for our top fundraisers: not one, but the top THREE community teams who raise the most funds in support of cancer care at PRHC will get their own coveted hangout space!

This week we meet the Dragon's Loft , where the second-place fundraising team will get:

  • A canopy tent in a prime Festival location
  • Relaxing seating between races on comfy Muskoka chairs
  • Special lunch and beverages provided by the Festival
  • Access to the special 'Pink Potty' (exclusive use by Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Loft and Dragon's Nest paddlers only)
  • A shared Social Director (with the Dragon's Loft) to keep your team on schedule for marshalling and races, and to help you book your massage times in the massage tent
  • Fantastic SWAG bags for your team!
So what's the secret to fundraising success?
The first step is to make sure you're registered online as part of your team at ptbodragonboat.ca to take advantage of the built-in tools and advantages for achieving your fundraising goal, such as:
  • The Mail Centre, which you can use to reach out to friends and family
  • Email wording is provided to make it easy as pie!
  • See your personal and team results as they grow
  • Donors receive immediate receipts when they give to your personal fundraising page online
  • Share your progress with a single click on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram

The key thing to remember about fundraising? They won't give... if you don't ASK! Don't be shy about spreading the word: you're participating in an amazing initiative that will quite literally save lives. Who wouldn't want to support you in reaching your goal?!
