Anyone who loves Bakelite bangles can attest to the particular sound they make when they thunk together on your wrist.
What I LOVE about these bangles is that they're made of a resin similar to Bakelite and they make those same lovely sounds AND they are a LOT more affordable.
You can mix them with the real thing and no will know which are real and which are the um...not quite real. I like to call them Bakelite-Lite.
