The Men of TOM House
By HOMO RIOT
The artist known as HOMO RIOT began a street art campaign in Los Angeles in 2008 after the passage of the anti-gay marriage Prop 8 in California. With art and imagery that promotes strong positive gay and queer identities,
HOMO RIOT has been an active voice internationally in the street art movement.
This book is a collection of images taken by the artist to commemorate the one year anniversary of his mural installation at TOM House. These images document the mural and include intimate portraits of the men that the artist associates with the House. The publication is a very limited run and each copy is signed by the artist.

Round Hole Square Peg 3
Call for Photographers in
West Hollywood Lifestyle
"Queer identity is not simply a sexual one. Queer artists have a perspective and an experience to contribute to a society that is wholly their own and it's a rich, and worldly one. Having been marginalized and alienated for so long has developed a unique view of self-worth, self-image, beauty, and love."
This LGBTQ photography competition's submission deadline is 20th December 2017.

Flying Cocks Collection
An article in
Flaunt
"Today, respects are properly paid to forever-relevant "artivist" of homo-eroticism Tom of Finland with the launch of a nine-piece line of accessories by European fine jeweler Jonathan Johnson."
"Visionary goldsmith Oliver Pfeiffer (a.k.a. Jonathan Johnson) designed brooch pendants, rings, shoelace links and belt buckles in the image of Tom of Finland's phallocentric and controversial body of work, including the iconic leather daddy character Kake."

How Will You Celebrate When You're 100?
|
You're a good person.
You do good things.
This proposed bill, in its current form, has several provisions that would impair the ability of nonprofits to serve people and strengthen communities.
Most significantly, the bill would reduce charitable giving and allow all charities to engage in politics.
It's not good for you. It's not good for us.
