MRFD New Ambulance Now in Service

The Montezuma Rimrock Fire District has placed into service a brand new Ambulance. The new Braun Northwest built ambulance is powered by a 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 chassis. This new unit replaces MRFD's 2004 Ford ambulance, which was recently removed from the fleet due to engine failure, and was auctioned off. The Montezuma Rimrock Fire District would like to thank the Camp Verde Fire District and Verde Valley Ambulance, who both provided "loaner" ambulances to MRFD while we waited for this new one to arrive, and while MRFD's other ambulance was being repaired, as it had unfortunately also recently suffered catastrophic engine failure. MRFD is excited about their new ambulance and we are confident that it will improve the district's ability to provide quality EMS care to the residents of the Beaver Creek Area as it employs some of the latest technologies in ambulance design.
