One of the company's finest technicians was drafted and sent to boot camp. At the rifle range, he was given some instruction, a rifle, and bullets. He fired several shots at the target. The report came from the target area that all attempts had completely missed the target.

The technician looked at his rifle, and then at the target. He looked at the rifle again, and then at the target again. He put his finger over the end of the rifle barrel and squeezed the trigger with his other hand. The end of his finger was blown off, whereupon he yelled toward the target area, "It's leaving here just fine, the trouble must be at your end!"

Louise in N. Attleborough- I understand your point but here is my reasoning. Ramirez will be difficult to trade,  if not impossible. Pap. is in the same boat. Neither player is viewed with as a good pick up at this point. My opinion is the Red Sox need to get rid of the non-productive Ramirez who shows he does not care. Pap on the other still cares about winning, is still a very good closer and we had him before and know how to handle him. Tempers blow up in sports but at least Pap has emotions whereas Ramirez shows no concern. Two evils and taking one gets rid of Ramirez? By the way, it probably will not happen but it could work. Pap still pitches well but Ramirez has not shown us much besides laziness.

I've posted my thoughts to NESN, signed the petition (where were the million signatures we could've gotten Sox fans!)and along with other fans we were ignorantly ignored! Don is officially no longer with us and the beloved team he so supported.

Sunday , regardless of the tribute to Don, it was pathetic of NESN. They got rid of him and they made it look like he was offered another job and turned down staying with the Sox. To see Jerry and Don looking so despondent at the end tore my guts out. Really, Red Sox owners/NESN decision makers? Are you proud of that? Breaking up the best duo and think we will forget?

If Jerry decides to leave because of this, I totally understand and even support him. He doesn't deserve having his buddy taken from him. A lot died  on Sunday  in us fans and I'm sure for Jerry and Don. Life can go on,but this heart wrenching we took will never be forgotten. No more NESN for me like others are doing. The sad thing too, Don signed a multi year contract, realizing Sox/NESN Org don't want him PERIOD. As the petition did nothing!!!!! So it means Don won't be back calling a Sox game for the Sox ever again. I'm so hurt that a piece of RSNation is gone and that its all the owners and NESN execs doing.  Yep, us fans really mean nothing to them. I even feel for Caron,Eck, Rice and so on. They gotta deal with this crap!  Sox owners and NESN, you all should be ashamed on this pathetic change you made. I'm even upset Dave agreed to take the job! I would've said that is Don's!

Don and Jerry have my thoughts and support on Twitter, so I won't type more. I appreciate your time in reading this. I needed to vent as I've wanted to on here for weeks and was too tired to do so. I guess the extreme anger and hurt  Sunday  seeing it be official gave me the energy to put NESN and Sox org in their place. I did it on Twitter and got a retweet from a fan! It felt good to be acknowledged UNLIKE NESN & Sox Org.

Blessings to Don and Jerry as they have no choice but to work separately next season. Would've been great if they created their own Sox game station! But we know they'd be prevented! I will close this out with saying,  May Don and Jerry continually feel our love and support.

NESN you stink. Enjoyed the repeats of Don Orsillo's finest moments but if you think that you gave him any type of substantial tribute it was a fail. Thanks for nothing. And Mr. Maar, please take the next plane out of Logan. You are a fool. I was crying just as much as Remy at the end of the broadcast but not from anything you jerks at NESN or the Red Sox did. This action will cost you dearly. For every action there is a reaction. Be forwarned.

I'm heartbroken over NESN'S letting Don Orsillo go. Don and Jerry made a great team in the broadcast booth. Great game calling and entertaining when there's a lull in the play. What are they thinking. We will miss him forever. Best of everything on your new Gig in San Diego, Don.
