It's absolutely disgusting that the Red Sox fans at today's (Sunday) game boo'd Jon Lester as he was coming off the field. The boos were so loud that I could have heard them down here in Florida with NESN turned off! I know he's had horrible outings lately but the guy is obviously having MAJOR problems. He needs Red Sox Nation's support in whatever way we can give it to him. He is an ace and he will return to form. Jon has done a LOT for this team and deserves our loyalty in good times and bad. I'm just saying...

It appalls me to have heard the BOO birds when Jon Lester left the mound today. Jon felt bad enough about the way he had pitched without thousands of RS fans booing him. Doesn't anyone realize all pitchers have a bad day? And why doesn't Bobby V. or someone else tell the team to place their right hand across their heart while God Bless America is being played or someone is singing it? I realize those guys play very hard but because of our Military this is why they get to play ball. They all need to visit a Military hospital! As far as Papelbon goes, I don't miss him at all with all his arrogance and/or ego thinking he's better than the rest of the bullpen. Good riddance to Pap!

Hello everyone - haven't written in a while, but continue to read the Remy Report every day. Well, I am appalled and shamed today with Red Sox Nation after watching today's game. Jon Lester needs help, not boos. For a guy that wears his heart on his sleeve, and so obviously has tried everything under the sun to get his mechanics back, to be treated today as he was, has me very sad. I can't even imagine how he feels tonight. Do you think by belittling him it's going to help him? On the contrary, it's counterproductive. He's beaten cancer, lost his beloved Terry, done so much to try to better himself these last few weeks, and what does he get for his efforts? BOOS???!!! Please, people, have a heart.

One pitch, 8.7 seconds into the game and we were losing 1-0. John Lester has lost the luster and something needs to be done. Toronto home runs flew over the Green Monster, while our batters only came close, and were out. Time to admit it folks, our Aces are more like Jokers and its time to make a change. I can't begin to tell you where the changes come from, I look forward to all of you telling me your thoughts. One thing...PLEASE no Garza... the spitting...I couldn't take it. It was a beautiful day at Fenway Park, but our team needs some serious changes.

I am going to put in my two cents - which I don't do often. I have NO problem with Lester being booed off the field. There are people in those stands that saved up for that one and only game all summer long to take the family to. They dished out money for the most expensive seats in all of MLB. They paid a fortune just to keep hydrated by buying Fenway gold plated water bottles (they must be for the price). Then, a mediocre team steps on the field with a pitcher who makes enough money to not have to worry about buying a bottle of water to keep hydrated. If the owners and the players don't want to get booed, then they shouldn't deliver to the lot a Hyundai when what was paid for was a BMW.
