March 10 is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD). It is an annual observance to recognize the impact of HIV on women and girls.

This year's theme, The Best Defense Is a Good Offense, encourages women and girls to take effective steps to protect themselves and others from HIV. Here are a few  things you can do  to acknowledge NWGHAAD:

* Learn the basics.
* Get tested.
* Start a conversation.
* Get involved.

Help us promote NWGHAAD by sharing the new  social media resources posters, and infographics
