Give the Gift of Life...
Give Blood!

The Westfield Key Club will host its annual American Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, January 19th from 1 until 6 p.m. in the Recital Hall. Walk-in donors are welcome, however, the Red Cross recommends that donors register for an appointment in advance online to reduce waiting time and to better anticipate the number of donors which helps them plan for and provide adequate staffing, Click here to register in advance online.
Service Learning: Hornets Helping Others
Over the Christmas break, our varsity boys' basketball team and coaches spent a day as volunteers working on projects at the Samaritan's Closet store in Perry. Thank you to Westfield parent Mr. Warren Johnson with the Perry Georgia Fuller Center for Housing and also to the Samaritan's Closet for allowing our varsity boys' basketball team to spend the day giving back to our community! Click here to read more about this project in the Houston Home Journal . #hornetshelping
Our varsity girls and boys' basketball teams are helping Lower School students learn fundamentals at the Lower School Instructional Basketball program for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The program includes five Saturday morning sessions. #westfieldbasketball #hornetshelping
Semester Grades and Report Card Update
We are currently in the process of finalizing first semester grades and exam scores. We anticipate final semester grades and reports cards will be posted on MyWestfield (RenWeb) by the end of the school day on Monday, January 8th. At that time, the Gradebook on your RenWeb account will be reactivated so that you will be able to view your student's grades.
If you have experienced problems with your RenWeb account today, please note that it was a RenWeb issue. The entire RenWeb system has been down today, creating various problems for all users at the more than 4,000 schools across the country served by RenWeb. At present, their system is back up and operational.
Global Learning: Bringing France to the Classroom
Students in Mrs. Anna Caulley's Upper School French classes had the opportunity to improve their comprehension skills by listening and speaking with Monsieur Alain Ravenais, a native of Lyon, France, now living in middle Georgia. Monsieur Ravenais and his wife travel and serve as missionaries in Europe and South America. He spoke about himself in French so that students could put into practice some of their comprehension skills. He also showed various pictures from different places where he has traveled and lived. #westfieldforeignlanguage
