Lower School Field Trips
Help Students Experience Learning
Traveling outside of the classroom is valuable in helping students see, touch, feel, and experience what they are learning in the classroom. This week, our second graders visited the Flint Riverquarium in Albany where they learned much about reptiles and animals that can be found in our part of Georgia and the Southeastern United States, while our fourth graders visited our State Capitol. #handsonlearning #westfieldfieldtrips
At Wednesday's Upper School assembly, students running for class offices of vice president and president gave their election speeches. We are proud of these students for their desire to be school leaders. Giving students many opportunities for leadership throughout their Upper School experience is an important part of our mission in preparing students for college. #buildingleaders #westfieldstudentcouncil
Congratulations to the students on our varsity basketball teams who were named to the GISA 4AAA All Region team: Camille Ledford, Allison Brown, Emma Williams, Garan Daw, Tee Adams, and Michael Fitzpatrick.
