Student Travel Abroad Opportunities
Travel is vitally important for students to experience; it exposes them to new languages and cultures, as they walk in the footsteps of history in places like the Eiffel Tower, Mont St Michel, the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, and more. Additionally, students gain independence and self-confidence, see some amazing things and places, and have a lot of fun!
Two travel abroad opportunities are available for Westfield students during the 2018-19 school year.
Mrs. Anna Caulley, Upper School French teacher, is taking a group to France the week of June 3 - 11, 2019. The deadline to register and receive the current price is April 1st. To secure your place and lock in the price, you must complete the paper registration form and turn it into Mrs. Caulley with a $200 deposit (check made out to ACIS). The first four students who enroll before Friday, March 9th will receive an extra $100 off of their final trip price. Two spots have already been claimed. Please contact Mrs. Caulley at [email protected] for more information.
During Spring Break of 2019, Mr. Robert Jones, Upper School History teacher, will be leading a trip to Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic. The focus is WWII themed with highlights such as Dachau, Auschwitz, Nuremberg, Prague, and Oskar Schindler's Factory. For more information, please email Mr. Jones at [email protected].

Lower School Presents the 29th Annual Grandparents' Day
Thank you to everyone who came to our 29th annual Westfield Grandparents' Day! What an incredible performance by our Lower School students! Our Lower School students and faculty worked very hard to make this year's show a huge success! This year's performance was directed by Mrs. Joye Goodwin, Mrs. Lora Ennis, and the entire Lower School faculty. Special thanks to the senior class of 2018, our art teachers, Mrs. Karen Ray and Mrs. Laura Harrison, for an incredible stage set, and to Mrs. Wendy Bryan and Mr. Matt Mellette for music and sound. From Pre-K to their senior year, Westfield students are inspired to sing and perform as they receive instruction in music, chorus, drama, and stage presentation. Performing in productions such as Grandparents' Day and our upcoming Upper School spring musical helps students develop self-confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
