  Greetings!
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! We are excited to welcome 536 Hornets as we embark upon a great year of learning. Each week, you will find The Westfield Weekly in your e-mail box as our way of helping to keep you informed about upcoming events and activities, as well as share happenings and accomplishments in our school community. Additionally, we hope you will stay connected to Westfield through MyWestfield (powered by RenWeb) and social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). Thank you for entrusting Westfield with your child's education. It's great to be a Westfield Hornet!
Q&A about our New Cafeteria Services
What is included in the Meal Plan?
The meal plan includes the daily meal deal which consists of one entree, two side items, and a fountain (non-bottled) drink with one drink refill. Portions are age appropriate. Meals are fresh and prepared from scratch.

What is considered an entree....what is considered a side item?
An entree can be the main item on the hot line (such as parmesan crusted tilapia or pepper steak), a grill item (such as a hamburger or pizza), a panini sandwich, a bowl of soup, or a salad created from the salad bar.

Side items include vegetables, side dishes, a side salad created from the salad bar, a prepared salad, fruit, a cup of soup, etc. A wide variety of snacks, grab & go meals (such as yogurt parfaits), and bottled beverages are available for purchase. AM break and after school snacks are also available each day. AM break is available only to students in grades 6 - 12.

What about extras to the meal plan and a la carte items?
Extras to the meal plan such as an additional entree or another side are charged in addition to the daily meal deal at a la carte pricing. For example, an additional side item such as a side salad is $1.50. A muffin or a bagel with cream cheese at AM break is $2 -$2.50. A bottled drink such as a Powerade, Minute Maid sparkling juice, or Dasani water is $2 - $2.50.

How do I sign my child up for the meal plan?
You may sign up online by clicking here . Meal plans are billed to your Westfield account monthly. Students may enroll at any time but may only opt out at the end of a semester. Two types of meal plans are available. You may choose lunch only or lunch plus morning snack.

Can my student eat lunch without being on the meal plan?
Yes. All daily menu offerings will be available for a la carte purchase on a charge basis only. Additionally, daily meal deals are available at the daily pricing below and include the same components as a meal plan lunch: one entrée, two sides, and a fountain (non-bottled) drink.

Two sessions will held - one at 8:05 a.m. and one at 6:15 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Recital Hall of the Arts & Sciences building. Hope to see you there!  #westfieldfamilyorganization
The 2017-2018 Vespidae yearbooks have arrived and will be distributed next Friday, August 24th! Our school yearbook covers the entire school year, is published over the summer, and is distributed after the start of the following school year.

Each Westfield family receives one (1) yearbook at no charge. This yearbook is distributed to the oldest child in the family if there is more than one child in the family attending Westfield. Students who did not attend Westfield last year (during the 2017-18 school year) will not receive a yearbook.

Additional yearbooks may be purchased at a cost of $50 per book by completing and submitting the online Yearbook Order Form. The cost for ordering yearbooks will be charged to your Westfield account.  #westfieldvespidaeyearbook
