Dear Fellow Dallas County Democrat:
I have served as your Dallas County Democratic Party (DCDP) Chair since June 27th, and I want to be sure you are kept up to date about our progress. We are making great strides as a team, and many people in the community deserve thanks for our achievements.
I am going to keep you in the DCDP loop by sending a weekly progress report to you.
We know you are busy, so we will cover just one topic per week and keep it to about a minute's worth of reading time.
The first topic is fundraising. Here is our one-minute message:
With your help, the support of numerous donors, and a great staff, the DCDP has raised over $106,000 since my election four months ago.
This was accomplished by:
- Revising the DCDP Sustaining Membership program with donor gifts and additional levels
- Offering sponsorships for the first time at the Annual DCDP Labor Day Picnic
- Hosting an auction at the Annual DCDP Fish Fry in October
- Hosting a Judicial Reception with the help of area donors
- Recruiting sponsors for our successful Presidential Debate Watch series (The next one is this Saturday at Texas Theatre, 7pm!)
- Asking and receiving support from many generous members of our local Democratic Party.
Our work is a team effort. I appreciate your support of the Dallas County Democratic Party.
