Will Regional Water Be A Part of Toledo's Future?

The debate of a regional water system has been at the forefront of discussion among elected officials and impacts all of the businesses and residents of our community. Attendees at our recent Focus on Business lunch heard from TMACOG President Tim Brown, Lucas County Sanitary Engineer Jim Shaw, City of Toledo Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson, and City of Sylvania Mayor Craig Stough on the issue. The issue of regional water is one that will impact every business and may be the most significant issue facing our region.

Celebrating Career Tech Month in February
February is Career and Technical Education month. We highlighted a few local schools that have excellent career tech programs.

2017 Addy Awards
Sixteen of our members were recognized for more than thirty awards this year at the 2017 Toledo American Advertising Awards. This year nine member projects were awarded the coveted Gold Addy, which is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and judged to be superior to all other entries (AAFToledo.com).

Summer in the City presented by Owens Corning is a unique experience for summer interns, co-ops and new employees to network and explore the Toledo Region. The program runs from June 1st- August 4th and offers interns the opportunity to experience both the quality of life and business side of the Toledo Region. Registration opens March 1st and sponsorship opportunities are available.
