Many of our vendors experienced damage at their farms, but have been working tirelessly to ensure that all the best CT produce makes it to the West End this week. So come on out and get the freshest tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, garlic, peaches, pears and early season apples around.

Late August means that it's time for some tomato tasting. Come sample over ten varieties of tomatoes at the market today while you shop.  Charlotte Ross and Jonathan Janeway of Sweet Acre Farm will be taking pre-orders all week for heritage chickens raised on fresh pasture and organic grain. At $4/lb, this is an opportunity you don't want to pass up. It is rare that farmers' markets sell local chicken, and we encourage you to seize the moment!
