We have just a little more than 12 hours until One Day in New Orleans starts. It has been an incredible few months producing the project and I can't wait to see all the footage yall capture tomorrow!

The crawfish boil last night was a blast. It was so fun to get to meet everyone and very exciting to hear what people are planning to film tomorrow. Check out our facebook page to see photos.

If you are not signed-up, this is my last plea to get you and your perspective represented in the project. Tomorrow is the big day!

For those of you already signed-up:

1) Charge those camera batteries!

4) Starting tomorrow, there will be an Upload button on our website, OneDayInNOLA.org This is where you'll upload the footage you shoot tomorrow. Email/call/text/facebook me if you have ANY questions about uploading your footage.

5) Ashley and I will be set up at Ash� Cultural Arts Center at 1712 Oretha C Haley Blvd from 10am-6pm.

If you need a loaner camera to shoot with, want us to help you with an interview, need help uploading your footage or just want to tell us about the incredible footage you've captured, please stop by! PJ's Coffeehouse has generously donated iced coffee, sodas and treats, so feel free to drop in just for a coffee break. :)

We, at Ash� Cultural Arts Center, are very excited about a community-wide day of solidarity in giving.  

 

On May 6th, midnight to midnight, thousands of residents in the Greater New Orleans area are going to show their support for their favorite nonprofit organizations during GiveNOLA Day, hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation. On that day, every donation we get will go a little further and help us claim our share of $200,000 in bonus dollars from the Lagniappe Fund, plus an additional $96,000 in prizes.

  

We need you to help us with three things:
