Reports on Latino Climate Resiliency Agenda, Key Ballot Measures in Nov. Elections, Voting Rights actions and more!
To counter the Climate Change-caused long term drought in California WCVI has launched a Latino Climate Resiliency project in Orange County, called Pro Agua. Pr
o Agua is a call to action for OC Latino leaders, activists and voters.
Orange County imports 50% of its water from two increasingly less reliable sources, the Sierra Snowpack and the Colorado River, "Pro Agua!"
will build substantial Orange County Latino leader and voter support for local sustainable clean water production and efficiency through diverse strategies including desalination, recycling, storm water capture, ground water reclamation and conservation through a year-long community education, outreach, leadership development and advocacy program.
