| Dear Friend,
Tomorrow, join Make the Road New York for our 4th Annual Community Assembly!
Every year, over 700 MRNY members from New York City and Long Island convene with elected officials at every level of government to celebrate our victories, share our policy priorities, and outline our vision for New York.
This year's assembly will be especially exciting, as we celebrate President Obama's historic Executive Order that will protect almost 800,000 undocumented youth from deportation, grant them work permits and a path to their dreams.
This new victory promises a great deal of opportunity for young immigrants and we are very proud of our youth leaders who have done so much to change the debate around immigration in this country by stepping out of the shadows to tell their stories.
But we must continue to work to make elected officials at all levels of government hear our collective voice.
And that's why, tomorrow, we are launching the Campaign for Respect & Dignity, MRNY's most ambitious campaign to date, uniting our communities' priorities into a single platform.
In addition, we'll be undertaking a robust effort to register and mobilize thousands of voters in support of policies that protect the dignity and respect the contributions of immigrants, tenants, workers, youth and LGBTQ New Yorkers.
Help us continue to make history!
