St. Joseph's Run for Tomorrow's Hope

St. Joseph School in Garden City hosted The Run for Tomorrow's Hope 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 8:30am showing their support for Catholic education on Long Island. The race was held on a beautiful spring day, in Garden City. It was a professionally timed USA Track and Field certified event with age category awards, prizes for the children and a post-race festival.

The race will benefit all schools supported by Tomorrow's Hope Foundation. The race also acted as a unique opportunity to increase public awareness and support of THF. The $26,000 raised will help send 20 more students to Catholic School across Long Island next year!

Race day hosted over 500 runners, families, school administrates, and sponsors. Thank you to those who sponsored and participated in the event. A special thanks to St. Joseph School and Dr. Michael Spinelli, Run Director and THF board member.

The average cost of Diocesan Catholic elementary schools  $4,500 per student per year. For those with the resources to afford the full tuition, the benefits of a Christ-centered education are well worth the investment.
That's where Tomorrow's Hope Foundation can help. In the 2014-2015 school year, the Foundation awarded $1.6 million to 1,700 of the neediest students within the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
