TF's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament Starts at 2pm at Reston National

  Aleigh Gambone Debuts with the U.S. Women's National Team

Aleigh Gambone of Clifton, Va., was called up to train and compete with the U-18 and U-19 U.S. Women's National Teams over the spring and summer. 

Her soccer adventures took her from Chula Vista, Calif., to Canberra, Australia, to Duyan, China. And she picked up some hardware along the way!
 




  TF Teams Storm Through Preseason Tournaments

Eight teams coached by Total Futbol blew past their opponents in preseason tournaments as they prepared for the official start of the 2017-18 season.    

Case in point: Herndon Youth Soccer's U12 Lightning Black team, shown at right in a huddle in the early morning fog at the Dulles National Soccer Tournament in August, swept their Division 4-0-0.

record high  total of ten players coached by Total Futbol earned 2017 Spring All-Met honors from  The Washington Post's  sports writers for Girls' high school soccer.   

Claire Constant (at right), now a senior at T.C. Williams High School and a UVA commit, won First Team honors.

 




  Milestone Reached! 100 College Soccer Players

It's official! Since 2012, 100 players coached by Total Futbol have gone on to play (or committed to play) college soccer: approximately 80% to Division I teams and 20% to Division II or III teams. 

At right, TF alum and now-college junior Sara Wilson throws in the ball for the University of Florida Gators, who were ranked 6th in the nation by NCAA soccer coaches as of September 19, 2017.

Tee Up for a Good Cause
Save the date: Friday, Sept. 29! We'll trade soccer balls for golf balls once again and tee up for TF's annual golf fundraiser. Proceeds go to cancer research and financial aid!  
 



TF Summer Camps Rocked in 2017  
Hundreds of campers enjoyed Total Futbol residential and day camps during July and August, honing their soccer and teamwork skills while just plain having fun.

  Coach  Profile:  Nia Walcott

Total Futbol coach Nia Walcott (shown shielding the ball from the USWNT's Carli Lloyd) has played at the highest levels of youth, collegiate and international soccer. 

Her advice for young players? "Be disciplined. If you really want to make it as a soccer player, you need to be on the ball every day."
