10am to 12 noon at Hockley Valley Resort for the Central Counties Destination Management Session in Headwaters.

Participating in the Destination Management Session is an opportunity to provide your ideas as Central Counties works toward their future strategy for the next five years.

 

Who should attend:

 

Owners, operators, senior staff of public and private sector businesses and organizations that currently do or potentially could derive some portion of business activity and revenue from the visitor market.


Purpose of the Tourism Destination Management Session:

  • To garner understanding and engagement in the Central Counties Tourism Management Plan development process.
  • To solicit feedback, input and validation from Headwaters Stakeholders for the opportunities identified and to explore possible development initiatives to be considered.

GET YOUR HEADWATERS 2015 FOUR SEASON VISITORS' GUIDES WHILE THEY LAST   

 

Headwaters Tourism is proud to have published 106,000 copies for our annual Visitors' Guide which promotes our region to southern Ontario and the GTA. Copies have been distributed through the Globe and Mail, at over 160 GTA hotels, Ontario Tourism Information Centres, at key locations throughout Headwaters and will be available at the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park during the Pan Am Games.

PAN AM TASTE TRAIL OPENS THIS WEEKEND 

 

The Pan Am Taste Trail begins when the torch relay comes to Headwaters and ends when the Para Pan Am Games are finished. The public is invited to visit the many establishments on the trail to taste their signature food and/or drink items and vote for their favourite.

 

Voting begins upon Trail opening and one lucky voter will win a Taste Trail prize package. Voters' choice winners will be announced after the Games and will be featured at Headwaters' annual Taste of Tourism Awards night in November.
