International Business Festival 2018

The International Business Festival will take place right after the BABC Transatlantic Conference. The UK Embassy launched Across the Pond at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. in partnership with BritishAmerican Business.

Across The Pond, British Trade and Investment Success Stories in the US , celebrates UK-based organisations of all sizes that trade to, and invest in, the United States, putting the spotlight on the actors who make the transatlantic trade and investment relationship the most valuable on Earth.

The event brought important political figures and business leaders to the Capitol Building. BAB was delighted to be joined by CEO Duncan Edwards, and Antony Phillipson, Her Majesty's Trade Commissioner for North America, as well as representatives from some of the companies featured in the publication such as BT , Northern Star and Brompton Bikes .

Santander Trade Missions in March and July 2018

Santander have a long history of supporting UK SME’s gain access to the USA market. This trade mission represents our commitment to helping the UK do this. We are delighted to assist Seafood Scotland on this mission in March, hopefully we will see plenty more Scottish fish in American restaurants and fridges. This trade mission is one of many opportunities we will be running to the USA in 2018, we would be delighted to hear from any BAB members who could benefit from our programs.

BABC and BAB are delighted to recognise Santander as one of our lead partners in the Trade and Investment Guide into the US 2018 to provide practical guidance to UK SMEs trading with the US.
