Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over
this 4th of July!

Families love to celebrate the 4th of July with food, alcohol and music. Too often, these festivities turn tragic on state highways and local streets. From June 30 to July 5, Louisiana transportation professionals and advocate will join forces with law enforcement agencies nationwide to conduct a campaign on  Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over in time for the iconic American holiday, Fourth of July.

With NHTSA's support, the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission's impaired driving program has secured funding for overtime enforcement during this special campaign period. This is one of the efforts aimed at helping Louisiana reach Destination Zero Deaths.

If you're rolling down the windows for fresh air or turning down the radio to "focus" after you've been drinking, that's a warning sign that you're probably not okay to drive. What's your warning sign?"  View more videos from Ad Council.
