HOT OFF THE PRESS
Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force to hold child car seat checks across the state
The Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force (LPSTF), in partnership with LA Highway Safety Commission, the State Police Troops and Destination Zero Deaths regional Child Passenger Safety (CPS) teams, is holding free-of-charge child car seat inspections during the National Seat Check Saturday on September 24. This collaborative effort is the state's way of supporting the National Child Passenger Safety Week (September 18-24) which has been going on for so many years now. Nationally certified technicians will provide education to parents and caregivers the proper way of installing a car seat. The message is simple: Know For Sure If Your Child is in the Right Car Seat.
