TransAxle was highlighted in the November 2011 edition of Truck Parts & Services-The After Market Authority, a leading publication in our industry. TransAxle was noted for hosting a tour for the APRA (Automotive Parts Remanufactures Association) at our TRC facility in Pennsauken, NJ. Our TRC facility is ISO 9001 certified and is dedicated to maintaining a 'green' standard in as many aspects of our business as possible.
The core of TransAxle's business is the remanufacture of transmission and differentials, which is by nature a green business . It was beneficial to the environment and our goal to maintain a green standard of business, to continue this green standard in the building process at our TRC facility. John Ferry, TransAxle's general manager of branch operation, says "Our newest facility (TRC) which is dedicated to remanufacturing Allison transmissions was built to green building standards such aslight sensors to conserve energy, low VOC paint, second life drywall and reclaimed lumber. So we are totally supportive of the green effort at every level of our business."
