“...knowing precisely when and where to plant can make all the difference to the quality of waterways like the Chesapeake Bay.”
Chesapeake Conservancy’s Conservation Innovation Center is using its groundbreaking technology to help partners harness the power of precision conservation as recently featured in Bloomberg BNA .

By using our new land cover classification, which provides 900 times more spatial detail than previous datasets, we help our partners pinpoint where conservation practices can deliver better results.

We are continuously identifying new technologies that will create this data more quickly and across more landscapes to accelerate the pace of conservation and restoration (check out this recent Nature article).

Do More With Less
We help organizations and local governments that traditionally have not had access to precision information or processing power use this “big data” to get results for their landscapes.

Interested in learning more about the new land cover dataset, how we are using it in other analyses to prioritize projects, and how this information could be applied to work in other landscapes?

Join me, Director of Conservation Technology Jeff Allenby, and Geospatial Program Manager Cassandra Pallai for a free webinar on February 22, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST.
