Seeking Better Healthcare for Transgender Patients

Dr. Anne Koch
As a teen growing up in Long Island in the 1960s, Ken Koch was the youngest starting quarterback at his high school. Otherwise, he didn't seem much different than most boys in town. "Something was not quite right.'' Today, Koch is a transgender endodontist who renamed herself Anne. Last month, she spoke at RSDM in her campaign to raise awareness of an alarming lack of skilled care for transgender patients.  LEARN MORE
